Winamp to relaunch as a Deezer-powered streaming service

Winamp announced a partnership with Paris-based Deezer to relaunch as a subscription streaming service in the first half of next year, using Deezer's white-label technology and catalog. The service will add internet radio, podcasts and cloud collections, but pricing was not disclosed. Deezer's subscriber base fell 3.5% to 8.9 million in the first half of 2026.
