Zero DS sets Guinness record with 436.5 km on a single charge

Belgian rider Jelle Verstaen set a Guinness World Record for the longest electric motorcycle journey on a single charge, covering 436.5 km (271.2 miles) on a production Zero DS with the optional Power Tank and a 19.2 kWh battery. The previous record of 310.7 km was beaten by more than 40%.

• Previous record of 310.7 km beaten by over 125 km
• Average cruising speed was held at around 52 km/h
• Two other Zero riders managed 350 km and 384 km on SR/S and DSR/X
