General Motors continues CarPlay backtrack on two truck models

General Motors is creating a new multimedia interface for pickups in which CarPlay and Android Auto get a separate window alongside native apps rather than the full screen. The company continues to move away from its 2023 decision to fully drop CarPlay in future electric vehicles.
