Mainspring, AEP Strike Deal for Up to 1.6 GW of Generation

Mainspring Energy has agreed to supply American Electric Power with up to 1.6 gigawatts of generation capacity. The eight-year deal could be worth as much as $4 billion. Its modular generators can bring new power online within 12 months amid surging data center demand.
