Marvell upgrades Structera X CXL controllers: up to 9TB DDR4 and 6TB DDR5 per controller

Marvell has launched its second-generation Structera X 3406 and 3506 CXL memory expansion controllers with CXL 3.2 and PCIe Gen6 support. Six DDR4/DDR5 channels deliver up to 9TB DDR4 or 6TB DDR5 per controller, while LZ4 compression throughput rises up to 5x. Sampling is expected in Q1 2027.
