SEMI: Global 300mm Fab Equipment Spending to Hit $227 Billion by 2029

SEMI projects global 300mm front-end fab equipment spending will reach $149 billion in 2026, up 31% year-over-year, and grow to $227 billion by 2029. Construction is expected to begin on 20 new 300mm fabs or lines in 2026 and 18 in 2027.
