Samsung is developing robots to automate chip fab equipment maintenance

Samsung is forming a permanent team to build robots that will automate equipment maintenance at its chip fabrication plants, shifting work away from contractors and on-site engineers. The project is separate from its humanoid robot efforts and focuses on rapid automation.
