Shopify Now Feeds Compare-at Prices to AI Shopping Agents

Shopify now passes compare-at prices to AI shopping agents through Shopify Catalog, exposing them as list_price in the Catalog API for each product variant. The feature is on by default for most stores, except those using compare-at as MSRP.

• Catalog API returns compare-at price as list_price per variant
• Enabled by default, off for stores using compare-at as MSRP
• Price is shared only when compare-at exceeds the selling price
• EEA buyers who hide compare-at prices won't get list_price
