GLP-1 weight loss drugs linked to nail detachment and hair loss

A multinational study of 575 GLP-1 users (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro and others) and 1,329 controls found higher rates of nail detachment, discoloration and hair loss. Nail detachment was reported by 39% of users versus 9% of nonusers, while 66% of users reported at least one nail disorder.
