Xona Space launches six Pulsar satellites to replace GPS
Xona Space Systems launched six satellites aboard a SpaceX rocket to beta test Pulsar, a commercial low-Earth-orbit alternative to GPS. The signals are 100 times stronger with centimeter-level accuracy and work with existing receivers via a software update. The startup has raised over $320 million and targets full coverage of the US, Europe, Japan and South Korea by 2028.
