Xona's commercial GPS alternative is about to go live
Startup Xona Space Systems is preparing to launch the first commercial precision alternative to GPS, with six satellites set to fly on a SpaceX rocket this month. Its Pulsar service promises centimeter-level accuracy instead of GPS's meter-level precision and a signal strong enough to work indoors. Full coverage of the US, Europe, Japan and South Korea is targeted by 2028.
