Google gives Gemini agent its own Workspace email and identity

At Gemini at Work 2026, Google Cloud unveiled an enterprise AI agent with its own Workspace account: an @agents.company.com email, calendar, Drive storage and a seat in the company directory. The agent pursues multi-day objectives, spawns sub-agents and can route work to Anthropic's Claude; it is in private preview with no pricing or GA date.
