AI agents hit a trust wall: only 13% would give them email access
Meta's Muse AI assistant overtook ChatGPT as the top free iOS app in the US with 3.4 million downloads last week, but mass adoption of AI agents faces a trust problem. A Thales poll found only 13% of respondents would let an agent read their emails and just 7% would allow money transfers between bank accounts. One user already claimed Muse shared his home address with strangers on Facebook Marketplace.
