Tier IV open-sources self-driving AI chip design to challenge Nvidia

Japanese autonomous driving developer Tier IV is creating an AI chip for self-driving and will open-source its design and toolchain. Semiconductor manufacturers will be able to use them to produce their own chips, challenging Nvidia's position.
