Malaysia suspends Chery Omoda 5 VTA and orders recall over detached rear axle
Malaysia's Road Transport Department (JPJ) has temporarily suspended the Vehicle Type Approval (VTA) for the Chery Omoda 5 and halted new registrations after a second rear axle detachment. Chery Malaysia must recall affected vehicles and undergo a technical audit of production and component suppliers.
