Toyota recalls 31,000 RAV4 Plug-in Hybrids over ECU software fault

Toyota has voluntarily recalled 31,000 2026 RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid vehicles due to an ECU software issue that can cause a loss of motive power and power steering while driving. Owners will be notified by December 2026, and dealers will update the ECU software free of charge.
