US Funds 6K Additive With $50 Million to End Chinese Tungsten Dependence Before 2027 Ban

6K Additive secured a final $27.4 million EXIM loan, bringing combined federal investment to $50.8 million. The funds will expand its Pennsylvania plant and lift refractory metal powder output from 200 to 1,000 metric tonnes a year, ahead of the January 1, 2027 ban on Chinese tungsten in US defense applications.
