AWS plans 36-building, 1,100-acre data center campus in Pennsylvania
AWS has filed plans for 36 data centers across 1,100 acres in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. The Homer City Energy Campus will be powered mainly by a new 4.5GW natural gas plant and create 1,500–2,000 jobs with average salaries of $80,000–$100,000. Construction starts in December 2026 and is scheduled for completion by June 2036.
