AWS wins planning permission for data center in Iver, UK
Buckinghamshire Council approved AWS's data center project in Iver, replacing 17 industrial units with a single two-story facility and 27 backup generators running mostly on HVO fuel. Amazon will pay £600,382 to offset air pollution and £73,000 for public rights of way; the site was bought in 2022 for £132.5m.
