One UI 9.0 brings My FanCam, Interpreter Thread View and Now Brief cards

Samsung is expanding its Android 17-based One UI 9 rollout: Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy S26 series got it first, and Galaxy S25, S25 FE, Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 owners in the U.S. are now receiving it via T-Mobile and Verizon. New features include My FanCam video reframing, Interpreter's Thread View, custom Now Brief cards and an AI Assistant Activity dashboard.

• My FanCam reframes a recorded video around a chosen person via Galaxy AI in the Gallery app
• Interpreter adds Thread View for scrolling back through translated conversations and faster Conversation Mode
• Now Brief supports up to three Custom Cards in Weather, Health and Videos categories
• AI Assistant Activity dashboard shows which apps and actions the AI assistant performed
