One UI 9 Security Brief failed to flag sideloaded apps and test malware

A MakeUseOf writer kept sideloaded apps Shizuku and F-Droid on a Galaxy Z Fold 8 for a week with One UI 9's Security Brief enabled, but received no alerts. The industry-standard AMTSO test APK could not even be installed because Android 17 blocked it.
