Sony's $249.99 ECM-AX10 phone microphone records spatial audio

Sony announced the ECM-AX10, a $249.99 USB-C microphone with four omnidirectional capsules and three recording modes: Ambisonics, binaural and stereo. US preorders are open, while 4K recording in the Spatial Audio Video Tool app is planned from December 2026.
