China’s Huawei sets 2027 launch for new AI chips as it targets Nvidia
Huawei announced two AI chips: 960DT in Q1 2027 and Ascend 960PR in Q3. The company is developing UnifiedBus technology to link chips into superclusters of up to 1 million processors and has already shipped over 1,000 supernodes to more than 370 customers.
