Volkswagen unveils ID. Tiguan as the ID.4 replacement with a frunk and buttons
Volkswagen has revealed the ID. Tiguan, an electric crossover that replaces the ID.4 and ID.5. It goes on sale in Europe in early 2027, with U.S. details to follow. European pricing starts at about €42,695, with up to 600 km of WLTP range.
- Battery options of 58 kWh and 77 kWh, output from 187 hp to 294 hp, RWD or AWD
- Up to 600 km WLTP range for the 77 kWh RWD version, 26 km more than the ID.4
- Adds a 1.1-cubic-foot frunk, one-pedal driving and vehicle-to-load capability
- Brings back physical buttons, including a volume knob and four window switches
