Volkswagen has opened pre-orders for the ID. Polo GTI, its first all-electric hot hatch to wear the GTI badge. Pricing starts at €39,995 (about $45,000), with a 222 hp front motor, 0–62 mph in 6.8 seconds and up to 431 km (267 miles) of WLTP range.
