Volkswagen starts production of ID. Cross electric SUV from €27,995

Volkswagen has begun series production of the ID. Cross electric SUV at its Pamplona, Spain plant. The entry-level Trend version with an 85 kW motor and 37 kWh battery goes on sale in mid-October from €27,995 (around $32,000), with up to 427 km of WLTP range.
