90% of companies want autonomous IT, but 77% won't let AI act alone

A Help Net Security survey found that 90% of companies plan to move toward autonomous IT operations within two years, yet 77% hesitate to let AI make operational decisions without human approval. Only 41% say their IT environment is ready, just 19% of operations are automated, and 51% lack oversight of AI agent performance.
