Dimensity 9600 Pro reportedly hits a new high at $220, but it's still much cheaper than Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro

According to Taiwanese outlet TaiSounds, MediaTek's flagship Dimensity 9600 Pro chip costs up to $220 — a record for the company (Dimensity 9500 — $180–200). The competing Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro is estimated at about $300, Apple's A20 Pro at about $280. The chip is built on TSMC's 2nm process and contains over 33 billion transistors.
