Denmark bans deepfakes created without consent
Danish Culture Minister Zenia Stampe has submitted a bill giving every person exclusive rights over their appearance and voice. Cloning a face or voice without written consent would be an offence, and platforms face heavy fines for slow takedowns. Caricatures, parodies and satire remain permitted.
