Meta appeals Nigerian ruling barring ad tracking without consent
Meta has appealed a Lagos High Court judgment ordering it to stop processing Nigerian Facebook and Instagram users' data for behavioural advertising and pay $100,000 in damages. The court ruled that behavioural profiling is not essential to providing the social networks.
