Anthropic, Google and Mistral unveil new AI models

Anthropic released Claude Haiku 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5 focused on speed and cost, with Haiku 5.5 said to run about 75% cheaper than its predecessor. Google showed frontier model Gemini 4 Argon with a 1 million-token output limit, limited to its Fairwind program. Mistral launched flagship Mistral Large 4 in public preview until Oct. 27.
