Claude Sonnet 5.5 becomes the default Sonnet model in Claude Code

Claude Code 2.1.284 makes Claude Sonnet 5.5 (claude-sonnet-5-5) the default Sonnet model on the Anthropic API: 1M context, $2/$10 per Mtok and $0.20/Mtok cache reads. Pricing is unchanged from Sonnet 5. Codex CLI 0.160.0 and Gemini CLI 0.62.0 with gemini-3.8-flash and gemini-3.5-flash-lite also shipped.
