Nissan's China-built Frontier Pro PHEV pickup goes global
Nissan will export its China-built Frontier Pro (Navara Pro) plug-in hybrid pickup: Mexico this month, other Latin American markets later in 2026, and Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines and the Middle East in 2027. Developed by Zhengzhou Nissan, its Dongfeng joint venture, the truck pairs a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a transmission-mounted electric motor for 402 hp and a 33-kWh battery.
