Meta donates 1,000 smart glasses to disability groups in Singapore
Meta gave away 1,000 pairs of Ray-Ban Meta glasses to four organizations in Singapore, including the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped and Guide Dogs Singapore. The glasses read text aloud, name objects and are controlled by voice, leaving hands free for a cane or guide dog. The visually handicapped group also received a $30,000 grant for free classes on using the glasses.
