Smart glasses in 2026: shipments up 263%, Meta holds 84% of the market

Smart glasses shipments jumped 263% in 2026, with Meta controlling about 84% of the market and 94% of the display-less AI segment. At Meta Connect on September 23 the company refreshed its lineup: Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 from $449, Meta Ray-Ban Display at $799 with the Neural Band and a 12MP camera.
