Google adds OEM Design Tokens for Android Automotive

Google's October 2026 System Update brings OEM Design Tokens in Google Play Services v26.39, giving car makers a structured theming system for Google apps on Android Automotive. Manufacturers can override colors via the com.android.oem.tokens library and Runtime Resource Overlays without breaking apps on updates.
