AP-NORC poll: 64% of Americans say AI is developing too fast

An AP-NORC poll of 2,140 U.S. adults (Sept. 24–28) found 64% think AI is developing too fast, 27% say the pace is about right and 8% call it too slow. About 8 in 10 want the government to keep AI under human control and protect workers, while 67% disapprove of Trump's handling of AI.
