Qualcomm once tried to license x86 from Intel for its PC push
Testifying in Qualcomm's lawsuit against Arm, CEO Cristiano Amon said the company approached Intel to license x86 when it was trying to enter the PC market. Intel refused, as only Intel and AMD hold x86 licenses. The jury trial runs all week and should conclude next week.
