Mobile games get AI graphics boosts on Snapdragon and Arm chips

At Snapdragon Summit 2026 Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 with Adreno Neural Fusion, which renders at 540p and AI-upscales to 1080p while inserting frames to reach 60–90 fps. Arm debuted the Mali G2-Ultra NX GPU with similar features. Battery savings in games reach 20–30%.
