Flathub drops generative AI ban for disclosure policy

Flathub has walked back its near-total ban on generative AI in app and game submissions, replacing it with a disclosure requirement. AI-generated code, docs and packaging must be disclosed, manifests still cannot contain AI content, and reviewers may reject submissions at their discretion.

• Flathub manifests must not contain AI-generated or AI-assisted content
• AI agents cannot open pull requests or write reviews
• Reviewers may reject submissions without further review
