US microreactor Unity set for full-power test in 2027
The US Department of Energy selected Deployable Energy's Unity Nuclear Battery for full-power testing in 2027 at Idaho National Laboratory. Unity reached criticality about 150 days after the project began, the first developer in NRIC's Nuclear Energy Launch Pad initiative to do so.
