HPE Launches ProLiant Gen13 With First AMD EPYC Venice Servers

HPE announced four ProLiant Gen13 servers built on 6th Gen AMD EPYC (SP7 socket): the eight-GPU DL585a flagship, the 1U single-socket DL525 with up to 256 cores and 16-channel memory, and the OCP XD245 and XD285 dense-compute nodes. All four feature PCIe Gen6 and the new iLO 8 management processor with post-quantum cryptography.

• DL585a: dual EPYC, up to 8 double-wide or 16 single-wide GPUs, 32 DIMM slots, up to 8TB memory
• DL525: 1U single-socket with up to 256 cores and 16-channel memory
• All four servers feature PCIe Gen6 and iLO 8 with post-quantum cryptography
• DL585a is a 10U air-cooled chassis with up to 14x 3200W power supplies
