Survey: 50% of developers use AI just to impress their boss

Adaptavist surveyed 1,000 software developers across the US, UK, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain. Half use AI mainly to demonstrate capability, 47% are judged on how much they use it rather than work quality, and 37% fear losing their jobs without it.
