Undead Labs boss: games investors are "sitting on the sidelines waiting for obvious slam dunks"
Undead Labs head Philip Holt said the studio bought its independence from Microsoft via a new holding company, Full Measure, after a deal with a potential buyer (reportedly Tencent-owned Splash Damage) fell through. He said investors are cautious and waiting for "obvious slam dunks", with Seattle's high labour costs a key concern. State of Decay 3 is still targeting a 2027 release.
