Fat-Dissolving Shot CBL-514 Cuts Visceral Fat 12% in Early Trials
The experimental injection CBL-514, which triggers fat-cell apoptosis, reduced visceral fat by an average 12.01% in two phase 2 trials, while placebo recipients gained 5.68%. Injection-site reactions were mostly mild and temporary, with no serious adverse events reported.
