KADEX 2026: South Korea Debuts Laser Counter-Drone Systems at $1.49 per Shot

KADEX 2026 opened in Cheongju with 450 companies from over 50 countries across 40,000 sq m. Headline systems include Hanwha's 20-kW Cheongwang laser (up to 3 km, about ₩2,000 per shot) and a 50-kW laser on the Tigon 8×8 armored vehicle. Serial production of the armored laser vehicle is targeted for late 2027.
