Hyundai Engineering wins 870bn won contract for 50MW Incheon data center

Hyundai Engineering has secured a contract to build a 50MW data center in Wonchang-dong, Incheon, for about 870 billion won. Construction starts in November 2026 and is set for completion in the second half of 2029, with KT Cloud handling MEP works.

• The data center will have 50MW capacity, ordered by Cheongna IDC PFV set up by Idoterra One
• Project value is about 870 billion won across 4 basement and 11 above-ground floors
• Construction begins November 2026, with completion targeted for H2 2029
• KT Cloud will handle MEP works using OSC methods and high-efficiency cooling
