Samsung wins key roles in SKT and KT AI-RAN projects

Samsung Electronics secured contracts with SK Telecom and KT for separate AI-RAN projects under South Korea's Hyper AI Network initiative, claiming it is the only vendor selected for both. The projects, backed by a KRW17.2 billion ($12.6 million) budget, will validate AI-RAN and physical AI services on private standalone 5G networks at industrial sites.
