UK adds open banking to GOV.UK One Login identity verification

The UK Government Digital Service awarded Ecospend, owned by Trustly, a £4.7 million contract to add open banking identity verification to GOV.UK One Login. The option is expected to launch in 2027, with work running through February 2029.
