Chrome 154 on Android adds email verification without codes

Google is extending its Email Verification origin trial to Chrome for Android: the browser confirms your address via a supported email provider and hands the site a signed token. It requires being signed in to your email in the browser, plus protocol support from both the site and the provider.

• Chrome 154 brings Email Verification to Android
• Toggle "Automatically confirm your emails" appears under Addresses and more
• Requires signed-in email and protocol support from site and provider
• Separate from Android's Verified Email system for apps
